Emulator for Play Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core

Now playing PSP games on the PC is no longer impossible, for PSP fans now can play game PSP on your PC. Then how to play PSP games on PC ?

 

After several years of JPCSP team as one of the PSP emulator developer team who first created by the shadow (Developer emulator PCSX and PCSX2) and after some years had finally arrived where we can play PSP games on PC. using java compailer as builders, JPCSP team has succeeded in making 170 PSP games can walk on the PC. JPSP however still far from perfect.

System Requirements

 
minimum :

Windows 32bit or 64bit / 32bit or 64bit Linux / Mac OSX
CPU: Pentium 4 and up
GPU: Any graphics card supporting OpenGL 2.0 and up 1GB of RAM

recommended :

Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32bit Jpcsp use even on a 64bit OS to have sound and video support)
CPU: Dual core@2.5 GHz
GPU: Always install the latest drivers
2GB RAM or more

The trial game: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII (ULUS10336)

Materials are in need download below :

- IDWS | Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII - Game (ULUS10336)
- Download JPCSP r1906 - grab the latest version
- Direct | Oracle website - jdk-6u23 (​​for win32)
- Mediafire | IDWS - SoniStage (Soni Player online no install ready, Pass: nysalnysal)
- IDWS - UMDGen (to Customize PSP iso)
- Mediafire - xpert2 (to extrack PSP data)
- IDWS - renamer (simple program easy to rename a folder Pass: nysal)
- IDWS - tmptool (I have combine three programs on it, Pass: nysal)
- Mediafire - JPCSP Louncer (JPCSP to Improve Performance)
- Mediafire - Xpadder (To Play with joystick)

How to install :

• Install java as the main program (jdk).
• Install Sonistage (for reading audio / video).
• Install the program expert2 (to extract audio / video file) and Copy psp_Crisis_Core_Final_Fantasy_7_US_pkg_fse.epi data (in the download folder expert2) at Xpert-Plugins folder, for example in "C: \ Program Files \ Xpert2 \ Xpert \ Xpert-Plugins".
• Ffmpeg-natives.7z extract here in JPCSP folder ... \ lib \ windows-x86.
• Place the downloaded iso to a folder umdimages emulator eg "E: \ EmuCR-JPcsp-r1881 \ umdimages". 
• Run the program UMDGen.exe

How to use process UMDGen.exe :

• Choose an open menu -> looking for iso final fantasy (Final Fantasy game).
• Sign PSP_GaME Folder \ USRDIR \ -> right click discimg.fse & discimg.pkg -> ekstrack selected. 

Process Generates programs that extracted discimg.fse & discimg.pkg
Now proceed with running the program expert.exe.

  

• Choose Xpert-Plugins -> PSP Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 U.S. *. pkg | *. FSE. 
• Run open an image file and navigate to "discimg.pkg".
• Run open a table file and point to "discimg.fse" then. 
• Choose extrack LBA -> wait until completion (if there is an error repeat again) - some computer ad asking who should be first diclose the Xpert program then continue process below. 
• Extrack select File -> wait until it is completed (if an error occurs repeat again).

Well after this process then automatically Generate file of about 1.5 Giga in folder @DISCIMG.PKG.

Now continue to use renamer program, first copy the previous renamer.exe to folder @DISCIMG.PKG earlier.

 
The process of Renamer :

• This is a simple program created by a tester Hyakki same in his official forum. 
• Give a check mark for all its PMF & AUDIO, or log all want to see if his memoirs. 
• Then click Go.

This process will generate a lot of subfolders in folder@DISCIMG.PKG. Can still follow it?

• Now make a new folder in the tmp directory in the game eg "E: \ EmuCR-JPcsp-r1884 \ tmp", rename that folder as ULUS10336. 
• Continue with CUT & PASTE to all folders in the program directory renamer to ULUS10336.

If you have completed the step above, then that should be done now is to run the program convertie.
 

Process in convertie :

• Extract all data Tmptool downloaded to a tmp folder. 
• Run the program convertie. 
• That in check only: RAW, At3 +, A-LAW. 
• Click decode At3 Audio -> wait until there is tulisanya finished in the top (If error, click abort decode & reset click again). 
• Click the Audio Video decode -> wait until there is tulisanya finished on top (If error, click abort decode & reset click again). 
• When the decoding process will hear voice "twing" "twing" "twing" "twing" to many - times (here because the process is so long, so you can leave your notebook or computer for few minute).

Last process :

 
Open the emulator now, then Configuration JPCSP (standard) :

• General is On: Use the compiler, the Save window positions on exit.
• Region: (leave default).
• Video: Suggested GE graph off, it is advisable not to try Dissidia FF.
• Audio: Leave it alone.
• memory: (leave default).
• On media: Use the Media Engine (so the video can get out).

JPCSP best configuration for the final fantasy games are :

• Video yg ON: Only ge, Vertex cache, Shaders, geometry shaders.
• Memory On: Ignore invalid memory.
• On Media: use Media Engine.
• The lowest resolution monitor, don't use fullscreen emulator.

Then??

AFTER TIRED WITH STEP BY STEP, THIS TIME TO REFRESH ..
JUST PLAY...

WARNING :

 
If there errors or hangs (a week I got hangs 4 times ) -> reset it then continues to load the game again,  later able to play normally.

Has been tested on WindowsXP 32bit AMD X2 5000 + Geforce 8500GT DDR2 2X1GB VGA (already tested on Win7 Phenom X4 VGA HD4350 got same result)
Use mode PSP screen (unfullscreen) or do not use PC screen (fullscreen).
