Vertigo

Description
Vertigo is a feeling as if the patient moves or rotates. Usually accompanied by nausea and loss of balance. Vertigo take a few moments or may continue for several hours or even days. Patients often feel better when lying still, but the vertigo can continue even if the patient does not move at all.

Common causes of vertigo, the state of the environment, drugs, circulatory disorders, abnormalities in the ear, or neurological disorders.

Symptoms
Patients feel as if she moves or rotates, or the patient feels as if a nearby object moving or spinning.

Treatment
Treatment of vertigo depends cause. If the cause is due to infection in the ear then treated with antibiotics. However, if due to holes in the inner ear it is necessary to ENT examination.
